Earthmate VIGORTEX® Staple Fibers Nonwoven Geotextiles are made of 100% Polypropylene staple fibers, which are needle-punched to form into a random network for dimensional stability. Earthmate VIGORTEX® Staple Fiber Nonwoven Geotextiles resist ultraviolet deterioration, rotting, biological degradation, naturally encountered alkalis and acids. A high level of resistance to UV light is given to Earthmate VIGORTEX® Staple Fiber Nonwoven Geotextiles by the incorporation of ≥ 2% of weathering grade carbon black, well dispersed in the polymer matrix. Vigortex® Polyester Composite Chipseal Grids are knitted high-modulus Polyester Yarn on the Polyester Continuous filaments Nonwoven Geotextile to be 0.5 inch square meshes for spray seal applications. It acts as a barrier to the ingress of water, protecting the pavement structure beneath to prevent further cracking. The integrated reinforcing grid strengthens and supports the sealed surface by improving the rupture behavior of the geotextile, with the combination of the two materials contributing to a significant delay in crack propagation. The grid’s integrated geotextile and grid design, in conjunction with the bitumen bond coat, will increase surface stability by providing a consistent and uniform layer. This reduces bitumen migration in comparison to conventional solutions while increasing aggregate retention.

Earthmate VIGORTEX® High Modulus Polyester Composited Geotextiles are high strength composited engineering materials for basal reinforcement and subgrade stabilization etc., The high modulus polyester filaments are knitted on the needle punched PP or Polyester Nonwoven Geotextiles backing. The needle punched PP Polyester Nonwoven Geotextiles backing will provide the Drainage and Protection function in the plane to avoid the installation damage to the polyester reinforcing filaments. As its compound nature of geotextiles, Earthmate VIGORTEX® High Modulus Polyester Composited Geotextiles are proper for the reinforcement of both Poor Drainage and Granular Soil. Its excellent in-plane drainage function promotes an increase in shear strength and significantly reduce pore water pressure to increase structural stability.
